There are many energy channels or “Nadis”, as they are called in Hindu philosophy, but three of them stand out.
This illustration is about Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna. Sushumna - the centre, is the central channel that is associated with the Saraswati river. Running alongside the Sushumna Nadi, on either side of the spine, are the Ida and Pingala Nadis. Ida refers to the Chandra (yin) energies of the moon, while Pingala refers to the Surya (yang) energies of the sun.

The Ida and Pingala represent the basic duality in existence. Or you can simply call it the masculine and feminine energies that we all have. The flowers in this illustration are representing seven main chakras, you can recognise them by their colours and you can see how the energy flows right through them. I have created this illustration with the intention of healing and bringing balance to your body and spirit
