The symbolic meaning of the phoenix is all about renewal. The phoenix is about overcoming darkness and rising up from challenges to become more powerful and succeed. I created this illustration during the New Moon in the zodiac sign of Scorpio. This is a special time when the moon brings back the darkest parts of our soul. During the new moon, we have a chance to revive, meet our hidden power and heal our traumas. It is a time to let go, be reborn once again and raise up like a phoenix.

I wanted to capture that energy and the feelings burning like a fire inside us, but at the same time to show that we are protected by the Phoenix during that transformation. I hope this image will be the reminder of the inner strength that we all have and inspiration for personal growth and rebirth in full inner power.
